If you already have a Bybit account that wasn't created with Mirrorly's referral link, you can transfer your identity to a new account. This takes about 2 minutes.

Step 1: Prepare Your Old Account#

On your existing verified Bybit account, clear the following:

Close any open positions Close all your existing positions.

Cancel P2P orders Cancel any pending P2P orders or active listings. Note: If you closed a P2P order within the last 5 days, you'll need to wait.

Remove bank cards (if any) If you used One-Click Buy, remove any linked bank cards from your payment methods.

Remove Tax ID (if any) If you linked a Tax ID for fiat deposits, remove it from your Identity Verification settings.

Check your KYC timing You need to have completed KYC at least 24 hours ago. If you just verified, wait until tomorrow.

Step 2: Withdraw Your Funds#

Withdraw or transfer your funds out of your old account now. After the identity transfer, both accounts are restricted from withdrawals for 24 hours. Move your funds before you start the transfer.

Step 3: Create a New Bybit Account#

Open a different browser or incognito window.

Go to Bybit using Mirrorly's referral link (available on the Mirrorly signup page).

Create a new account with a different email. Do not verify KYC on this account - it needs to stay unverified to receive your identity transfer.

Step 4: Start the Identity Transfer#

Go back to your old verified Bybit account.

Click your profile icon > Account > Identity Verification.

Click "Transfer identity" (top right of the Personal Info box).

Step 5: Complete Security Verification#

Bybit will ask you to verify it's you. Complete the facial recognition or enter the verification code sent to your email/phone.

Step 6: Enter Your New Account Details#

Enter the email of your new Bybit account (the one you created with Mirrorly's referral link).

Step 7: Verify the New Account#

Bybit will send a verification code to your new account's email. Enter that code to confirm the transfer.

Step 8: Done#

Your identity is now on the new account. Your old account returns to unverified status.

Step 9: Deposit and Connect#

Deposit your funds into your new verified account. Then go back to Mirrorly, create your API keys on the new account, and you're ready to start copy trading.

What If I Can't Transfer?

• Already used identity transfer in last 6 months: Use a different exchange (Bitget, BloFin, or Hyperliquid)
